Really is a good for them baby food without excess junk added

Simple ingredients.Nothing you don't want or don't need has been added.Straight forward puree made out of organic banana, apple, mango , apricot and lemon juice concentrate.Just a tasty good for you food. Easy to take these with you if on the go.Can eat them cold or room temp but cold really seems to taste better.Be aware there is an allergy warning on the label probably means processed at a plant so says could have trace amount of wheat or tree nuts.Comes in several flavors and so far the ones we have tried all taste great.

Baby loved it

I can't really judge the flavor of these, as I ordered them for my great-niece when family was visiting. She seemed to love them, though. For babies, this can be fed by spoon. But they're great for toddlers, too, because they can suck them right out of the pack. I love that they are resealable so they don't get wasted. And, with a baby, as long as you use a bowl, you can just dish out a little at a time and recap the rest and refrigerate so you don't waste.

Son approves!

This is a pack 6 organic baby food pouches in the flavor banana, apple, mango, and apricot. Each pouch has a twist off cap. You can choose to have your child eat directly or squeeze the contents into a cup to spoon food. These are super convenient to take with you on the go. Each pouch contains 3.5 oz of pureed food so it's the perfect size for a snack. These are made without any preservatives or synthetic flavors. My son is enjoying them so far!

Kids love it.

I got these for my 4 and 14 month old. Both of them love this flavor. They've enjoyed both flavors we've tried from this brand. While I appreciate that it's organic, it's not a must have thing for me and I find that the price is a bit high for me to be a repeat buyer.

Sweet, Tasty, but Expensive

I can definitely taste the mango and apricot, and a little bit of the banana and lemon juice... not so much apple. The flavor is really good overall, but way too sweet for a baby new to solids in my opinion. These are pretty small pouches, and I think are appropriate for babies in size... but the price per pouch is pretty steep for only 60 calories of sugar-heavy fruit.

so yummy so healthy!

i eat these as an adult who doesnt get enough fruits and loves to snack! i only eat all organic things so when i saw these i had to jump on them! they taste sooo good and sweet with no added sugar! to me they taste like straight banana, didnt get hints of the other included fruits but that tends to happen as banana normally has an overbearing flavor imo. the ingredients are ideal super clean and all organic with no unpronounceable ingredients. great for adults or kids perfect healthy sweet addition to a lunch and also great for on the go at the park beach or while youre driving. i love these easy to eat pouches of goodness!

Already ordered more!

The Banana Llama fruit pouches were a huge hit. The very first pouch took no convincing at all. I actually had a difficult time prying the pouch out of her tight grip to switch to a different food. She LOVES this stuff. She was making baby grunts and growls while eating it and would seriously have had more than one pouch if I let her. An absolute win, already ordered more!

Delicious, But WAY Too Expensive

My local supermarket has organic food pouches exactly like these Holle pouches for $1. Every few months they will have sales where if you buy 10 pouches for $1 the 11th pouch is free. I just cannot justify paying nearly $3 per pouch when I know I can buy the exact same thing for $1 or less. The super high price aside, these do taste amazing. The organic store brand pouches - no preservatives and no additives - are really good too and maybe it was something about the fruit mixture Holle used, but it was just really nice. I could have easily downed three pouches without thinking. We usually buy these pouches filled with dog friendly fruits or vegetables to help fill frozen food toys for our dogs. This specific group of fruit is all dog safe, so we are going to use it - sparingly - in some food toys and then keep getting the way less expensive brand.

Pricey but delicious

Yup, I'm one of those adults who love these kinds of fruit and veggie mix pouches as an on-the-go snack, and does the rest of the family. Finding ones that aren't mostly just flavored applesauce can be a challenge. While this particular brand does have apples in the mix for this Banana Llama flavor, they aren't the top ingredient. That goes to bananas, followed by mangoes and apricots. You can actually taste these fruits rather than having so little of anything other than apples that all you taste is apples regardless of what other fruits or vegetables may be listed. We know that whole produce is better to eat, but the convenience of these makes them a better choice for snacks or packed lunches. They work great as edible freezer packs to help keep the contents of your lunchbox cold, too. Over the holidays when family and friends were visiting, one of the teens had just had braces put on and if you've ever had braces, you know how for the first several days it can be painful to chew, and there are several foods listed on the list of ones to avoid so brackets aren't popped off or wires broken, like whole apples. The teen is a vegetarian, and their orthodontist suggested pouches like this as a way for her to be able to snack on fruits and vegetables without worrying about damage to her braces or getting smooshy bits of berries or bananas or little seeds stuck in the hardware. Turns out these pouches also work great in baked goods as well if you want to swap out the oil. You can usually do this with applesauce, though these pouches add a bigger flavor kick if you get one that is close to the flavor of the baked goods you are making. These Banana Llama pouches work great for banana muffins or bread. The hint of mango and apricot add definite flavor interest in a great way.The trash created by these pouches is a concern, but there are recycling centers that will take them. Luckily we have one about an hour away, though there are online sites that will send you kits/materials to be able to ship them empty pouches for recycling should you wish to do so.Price-wise, these are about a dollar more a pouch than US-based brands such as Sprout or Peter Rabbit, These come out to around $0.85/ounce, while Sprout (also organic, no sugar, USDA verified) is $0.42/ounce. Peter Rabbit is usually around $0.40/ounce, Happy Kid is around $0.31/ounce, and all are organic with no added sugar. One difference though, is these other brands often have apples as the first ingredient, and the other fruit(s) is(are) more often than not fruit JUICE rather than fruit puree. Like the Peter Rabbit Organics Apple & Grape pouch. It's apple puree and grape juice, not whole pureed grapes. The Happy Kid Apple, Blueberry, & Pomegranate is pureed apples, pureed blueberries, and pomegranate juice versus pureed pomegranate seeds. It's a little thing, I suppose, but it still ends up being flavored applesauce when you think you are actually getting two or more kinds of fruit/produce. Like I said above, with this brand of pouches, you really can taste all the flavors that make up the blend, not just apples. Is it worth twice the cost of other brands? Eh, not totally convinced of that. The flavor is excellent, and better than almost every other brand we've tried. I know that shipping from Italy jacks up the price, though. If there were more pouches in the box to help offset the price so that the per ounce was a lot closer to other organic brands, I'd happily switch.

Sweet, healthy and creamy

This baby food smells so enticing and sweet. It’s a very smooth and creamy food with the natural orange color one would expect. My little is too small to eat it out of the pouch just yet. So instead I do 1/3 to 1/2 in a bowl and use a small silicone spoon to serve it. He has really enjoyed this flavor. He lets me know when he’s done and sometimes likes to have a different flavor to go with it. But it’s been a winner in flavor, ingredients and consistency.

Our two year old LOVES them

These are great - as easy to use as any other type of pouch snack puree. It comes in a six pack box that is easy to tear open. The details say it is from Italy, and I'm guessing maybe that's why they come in so expensive at about $18 per 6-pack. I'm a bargain hunter for snacks and I'm not quite sure if I'd spend the extra buck per pouch to buy these consistently when there are cheaper options on the local store shelf.

Fresh and well packed for safety. No open or damaged pouches, all sealed properly. Taste was good and the toddler ate it quickly. Rather pricey for 6 pouches but if you're looking for organic, these are good.

Tasty organic snack for kids

Delicious organic food baby pouches. The set includes 6 pc of pretty standard size 100g each. I enjoy the taste and it feels fresh. I really like that it is organic. As it says on the back of the pouche it contains organic banana, organic apple, organic mango, organic apricot and organic juice concentrate. I like this combination and is good for my baby.

3 year old likes them, easy to eat

My daughter who is almost 3 years old loves food pouches. They are very convenient to travel with and are very easy to eat from, no utensils required and are easily re-sealable. I was suppose to receive the banana flavor, but was sent peach by accident (which this kind still contains banana). She likes peach and doesn't have any allergies, so I wasn't worried about being sent the wrong flavor. I love that this product is organic/non-gmo and no added junk ingredients or added sugars. They provide a good source of fruit, grains (spelt), potassium, and some iron and calcium. Overall a good product but are pricier than other organic brands (currently $18 or about $3/each).

VERY expensive

For 6 pouches, the price is very expensive. I'm better off getting my usual ones at the grocery. They are delicious, though and my babe gulped it down.

My little one loves food pouches and we get them in bulk every month. We were excited to try something a little different. The box says these are made in Italy. Our little one loved these and ate the whole thing in under 3 minutes! These pouches have 13g of sugar, which is a little more than I would have liked, but it isn't too bad. To be fair it is a whole bunch of fruits, so the sugar is to be expected. The veggie pouches we feed our little one has 3g of sugar so in comparison this seems like a lot. We always give our baby this in the mornings so he has the whole day to "work off" the sugars and for dinner we stick with the veggie (less sugar) pouches.Price wise, even with with 20% coupon, it does come out to be a little pricier ($1) than the ones we usually get. I may consider getting more if these come down in price a little but I also know I shouldn't be comparing prices with the other popular food pouch brands that are sold in the continental USA.Give these a try, your little ones might like this new flavor. I am also planning to get the other ones by Holle just to give my little one a break from the other brands, as we've had just about every variety of baby food pouches there is.

An expensive but tasty snack

These pouches taste good. There's a mix of the banana, apricot and mango flavors. You can't taste the apple. It has a nice bright flavor. The banana texture is definitely present. Everyone from toddlers to elementary school kids in our house enjoys these as an easy healthy snack. That said, there are only 6 pouches in a box, so these are a bit pricey. The pouches I received in December 2021 expire in June 2022.

easy to use, great flavor!

I tried these first to make sure they are tasty and, I really like them, so did my daughter! I feel good giving her a snack with healthy organic ingredients. These pouches are easy to open and squeeze the food out of. I am pleased with both the design and flavor of this snack!

2 yrs loves it. Sweet. Portable. Perfect.

I got these for a 2 year old that still likes pouches as long as they are a little sweet (applesauce blends, etc) and he loves these. It’s all fruits and smells and tastes good.I figured it was worth a try, as worst case scenario it’s a blend you could easily use up in substitutions in baking something like muffins or putting them into an adult smoothie/protein shake for myself if I just didn’t want to waste them. Easily enough though the kid LOVES them.I couldn’t sell to anyone older than one though (4, 6, etc) as they are just sort of “over pouches) so I’d only plan on these for toddler and down ages unless you know your kid is good about pouch snacks. We actually had chocolate pancakes the other am and he was asking for one of these instead of the extra chocolate filled pancakes, so to me that’s a total win.Depending on price per pouch I’d rebuy them again.Overall I’d recommend them.

Kid likes them, but for the price...not sure..

I hadn't heard of the Holle brand until I picked these up recently for my 4 year old. She thought the name and pictures on the pouch were cute, and she loves banana flavored things so she really enjoyed these as a snack. I looked up the brand before giving these to her and it seems to be a trusted organic brand that I felt comfortable giving to her. While she liked these, for the price I'm not sure if I can justify purchasing more only because there are other organic brands that make similar products for a better price point.

These banana llama baby foods are so so good. They taste sweet and natural. The portions are just right and consistency is smooth with no chunks. I really liked it and my little siblings did too. I’d recommend them

1 Year Old Downed These; Bit Expensive

At the time of this review, these are $3 a pouch, which is double the ones I buy locally. If not for the price, these would be an easy 5 stars. My 1 year old loves these, they taste good, and the nutritional content is pretty decent. The packets are the same size as the ones you usually buy with the same style twist off cap. The consistency is a little more on the runny side of the spectrum for these packets, but it's nothing unusual-- it's just worth noting in case you have a kid that insists on squeezing them on his own, then you may be doing a bit of cleanup.
